Terms of Service

The BL4CKOUT Plate is meant only for private settings such as photography, exhibitions, car meets, events, track days, and other off-road situations. It is neither approved nor legal for use on public roads. Confirming that buying and using the plate is lawful in your area is entirely down to you, whether that is under local, state, provincial, federal, or international rules. Neither BL4CKOUT Labs nor its affiliates take on any liability for fines, penalties, or other fallout tied to using the plate improperly or illegally on public roads. You accept that we make no promise about the product's legality in your jurisdiction, and that any legal responsibility stays with you. Buying it means you take on the job of checking that it is legal where you are. We are not answerable for any legal or financial fallout from your use or possession of the product.

The BL4CKOUT Plate is built purely for controlled, private environments where its use stays fully within the law. That covers private events, exhibitions, photo shoots, car shows, racetracks, and other settings off public roads. We expressly forbid, and never endorse, using the plate on any public road or in any way that breaks local, state, provincial, federal, or international law.

Everything we publish for marketing, whether video, imagery, or ads, across our official channels (including but not limited to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Google), exists for promotion only. Some of it may lean on fictional or exaggerated setups meant to catch attention through humor, irony, or hypotheticals. Any such scenario in our content is there for entertainment and branding, and is not an endorsement, encouragement, or approval of illegal or improper use of the plate.

In making and sharing this content, we do not set out to misrepresent what the product can legally do. Our advertising is put together to speak to car enthusiasts while staying inside platform policies and advertising rules. We take reasonable steps so that our ads and social posts make clear the BL4CKOUT Plate is for lawful, private use only.

We are not liable if promotional content is read as endorsing unlawful activity or as a sign that the plate is legal on public roads. Responsibility for following the applicable laws stays with you. On top of that, any use of the plate outside the settings we approve, and any action taken on the strength of something implied in our promotional content, rests solely with the user. We are fully committed to meeting and upholding every applicable advertising standard and legal requirement.

We also place clear disclaimers across the relevant advertising and promotional material, and clear warnings in every package, so viewers understand what the product is lawfully for. Any departure from that approved use by a customer is neither authorized nor endorsed by us. Engaging with our content or buying the product means you confirm you have read and understood the legal limits around the BL4CKOUT Plate, including its use only in private, controlled environments as laid out in these Terms.

Every BL4CKOUT Plate is made to set dimensions that are stated plainly on the product pages. Checking that those dimensions suit your situation is your responsibility. A plate may be described as fitting a given region (Europe, the UK, and so on), but we do not guarantee it fits every plate size within that region. Measure your own license plate against the listed specs before you buy.

Any plate used with our covers must be no thicker than 2mm to seat in the bracket. Confirming your plate meets that is on you. We do not refund or return items that fail to fit because of a plate's thickness or dimensions. Because the plate sits inside a rigid glass cover with no give, it has to be used on flat license plates.

The BL4CKOUT Plate is a privacy accessory for off-road and private use only, and it is no guarantee against theft, vandalism, or any other criminal act. We disclaim all liability for damage, loss, or legal trouble arising from using or misusing the plate. You take on full responsibility for how it is used, including anything that follows from misuse or illegal use. We are not answerable for damages of any kind, whether indirect, incidental, or consequential, however they come about.

The BL4CKOUT Plate is for private, controlled settings only, such as exhibitions, car shows, and private property. It is not designed or approved for use on public roads. In some places, even buying or owning the product may be limited. Confirming that buying, using, or fitting the plate is legal where you are is your responsibility. Neither we nor our affiliates take on liability for anything that follows from illegal use or purchase in places where it is not allowed. Buying it means you confirm you have checked and understood the laws that apply to you.

We handle safe packing, inspection, and dispatch right up to the point the product reaches the customs office in your country. Once it hits customs there, we are no longer liable for any delay, hold, or clearance issue. We will help by reaching out to customs and the carrier to try to move things along, but we cannot guarantee a result, and we are not obliged to replace or refund the product in those cases. Paying any duties, taxes, or import fees needed to release the parcel is down to you.

If you decline to pay the customs fees or duties owed and the parcel comes back to us, the following are taken out of any possible refund:

• What it cost to ship the order to you in the first place.
• The cost of shipping it back to us.
• A 20% charge covering handling, processing, and legal costs.

The final refund figure is set at our sole discretion. It may not cover the full price you paid, and we reserve the right to decline a refund depending on how the return came about.

For items that are not preorders, we aim to process and ship within one business day. When demand spikes, that can stretch to 7 business days. We will email you about any delay. Please check your email regularly, spam folder included, for order updates. Not keeping up with those messages is not grounds for faster handling or any compensation for delay.

Preorders can be refunded in full up until the product ships. After it ships, refunds apply only to defective products, and only where:

• The item is unused and in the condition you received it.
• The original packaging, warranty stickers included, is untouched.
• You show proof of purchase within 30 days of receiving it.

Where those conditions are met, you may ask for a return or exchange. We will inspect the item and let you know whether the refund or exchange is approved. If it is, you may get an exchange or store credit of equal value.

Every order is subject to our acceptance. We may refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to suspected misuse, a pricing error, or a product being unavailable. If we cancel an order, we refund it in full.

This agreement is governed by and read in line with the laws of Canada, setting aside conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or connected to these Terms, the BL4CKOUT Plate, or anything else we provide is settled under Canadian jurisdiction. Agreeing to these terms means you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Canadian courts for any proceedings.

Making sure you meet every relevant local, state, federal, and international law, rule, and regulation before buying and using the BL4CKOUT Plate is your responsibility. We make no promise or claim about the product's legality in your jurisdiction. You take on full liability for any penalty, fine, or legal action that follows from using it in non-compliant or illegal ways. You are also responsible for making sure the product suits your vehicle's requirements, and we do not refund or return items over incorrect sizing.

Buying the BL4CKOUT Plate means agreeing to use it responsibly, ethically, and lawfully. Any misuse, whether on purpose or not, is your responsibility alone. We are not liable for any consequence or damage stemming from misuse. You agree to follow every law and regulation governing the plate's use.

By buying and using the BL4CKOUT Plate, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. This is a binding contract between you and BL4CKOUT Labs. If any part of it does not sit right with you, the advice is not to buy or use the product.

We may change these Terms of Service at any time without notice. It is worth reviewing them now and then so you stay current. Continuing to use the BL4CKOUT Plate after a change means you accept it.
